Goodbye 2017!

Down to the last day of 2017, and it still feels so surreal.  I guess i'm not ready to end this year yet, because of so much that has happened and of what's gonna happen in 2018.  2017 has been a hell of a ride for me from finishing the last trimesters of school to graduation to grad trips to officially unemployed and looking for a full-time job. Thankful for graduating on a good note and i'm glad i've had the best takeaways from SIT. :') Never regret entering this school afterall, being the pioneer batch of 19 and completing my IWSP and Capstone with a bang as well as leaving uni with friendships worth treasuring for a lifetime and life lessons worth remembering. This #2017bestnine basically captured most of my best memories of the year, especially with a special someone who entered into my life and stayed on till today. WE'RE GONNA BE 365 DAYS OLD AFTER 12AM!!! (L) Both grateful and thankful for the people who stayed on with me and as much as people chang...

The month of Thanksgiving

Feels great to be back at this platform and writing my thoughts once again.  Its the last day of November, how time flies. :-)  This month has been a rather fulfilling one with me going on to my last graduation trip with my sec friends (e same bunch i went to Taiwan w in 2015) and meet up with people I've not met in a long time.  Honestly, i feel so blessed to have been to quite a few countries and be able to go on all my graduation trips because i know once my work life begins, there ain't a second chance to do all these.  I guess everyone's growing up so quickly and as much as i would love for all of us to remain as close and connected, life tends to get in the way.  So i tell myself, what are your priorities? What really matters to you? What is so important that you will regret not doing it when you grow older? Friendships. Relationships. Quality time spent with the people i love and who loved me.  I always believed in doing the things i loved...

ITS SEPT! :>

YAYYYYYYYYY finally no more school and it's officially holidays!!!!! :D Omg can't believe how time flies and it's been a month and two days since the last day i've been to school for my capstone presentation. Honestly feels so surreal just thinking about how we ended the entire two years of our uni education and now living the unofficial graduation and unemployment life heh. Much feels :') One thing for sure, i'm def gonna miss my classmates so so much. They're the best bunch of friends i've ever wanted and it just feels so amazing how our class of 19 is so closely knitted till today. (L) #SPECIAL19 It's been a memorable two years with this class of mine and i'm forever so thankful and grateful to be exempted straight to year 2 since the start of my uni life and despite all the terrible crap we've had since we entered SIT, it was worth it. So darn worth the late night mugging and project meetings, lack of sleep, unfairness etc....

2 more weeks till end of school!!!

Yes that's right its officially two more weeks till the end of school, and the end of my university education. How fast two year flew by and i can still remember when we all first started day one of school. Sigh much mixed feelings right now. Esp when school is three days a week now, the time to see our classmates are shorter. And i honestly swear i'm gonna miss my clique so much :'( WANNACRYRIGHTNOW. T.T It's like every project meeting i'm like trying to sit back and observe and enjoy every single meeting we have because to me, it always feel like the last and it saddens me at that thought. Been the same team for five years together since Ngee Ann. #thosepolydays #muchmisses On a side note, been thinking about the time spent with him too. Been rather thankful we got to spend two trimesters together and it was a real good experience i guess. I mean initially when we first got together,  i disliked the idea of couples being the same class and stuff, like seeing ...

It's May

Rare occasion for me to be sitting at home on a Saturday afternoon doing my own work. Been trying hard to get myself up to do transcripts. Honestly, interview transcripts ain't easy. Its rather tough to literally transcript every single word the person says and to make matters worse when the interviewee has an accent or speaks too quickly/muffled or even when you can hear the background noises (like people talking/coffee machine engines working) so loudly from the recording.  But i am just so thankful for the support I've received from my friends, colleagues and even managers as well as the industry partners out there. To those who are so fully in support of students' final year projects, thank you. Thank you so much.  Def ain't easy to entertain us students bugging them for interviews, but i'm really glad to have met really nice people who support students in the things we do. Believing in us and the projects we are handling. :-)  I remember how when i first s...
Can't believe its already 1st of April.  This trimester seem to flew by too quickly and honestly i've no idea how i've managed to survive the past 12 weeks of school. Its been a whole lot of stress this time round, after being back from IWSP for 8 months. Its like starting your engine back to the studying momentum  Despite lesser modules, but assignments got tougher and stress level was max for me at times. Just super thankful to pass that "phase". And here am i, waiting to finish up the remaining bits of stuff to do. SO GLAD that this weekend is finally a weekend to breathe. Like literally having time to do the things i wanna do, EXERCISE!! Running omgosh been ages since i've ran and i really missed it so much. Its by far the most effective way for relieving all my stress and worries.  Coincidentally, today marks the third month for us too. :-) Heh, surprised to see that we've come a little further than when i last blogged. Can still remembe...

be strong, believe

Helloooo :) Guess it's been awhile since i last sat at my table and decide to update my life here. Much has happened and changed since a year ago or in fact a month ago, and i'm glad to have made it this far.  Thinking back, firstly i can't be more thankful to conquer the eight months of IWSP.  Suddenly, it didn't seem that long either but nonetheless, i'm so glad to have finished it and be back at school for the last year/two trimesters. I'M OFFICIALLY A YEAR 3. SOBS T.T #laojiaolo #idwtogradsosoon  Its like a couple of months ago when we just stepped into SIT and now, we're onto our final lap to graduation. Just can't believe we're graduating and leaving this school in like 7 months time? Sigh.  So much to do within that short period of time, so much more memories to capture before life as a student officially ends.  And that's why i constantly tell myself to enjoy now. Enjoy every moment.  Its like how we keep worrying about the future...
