Thankful December

10:18pm time checked.  28th Dec 2016 date checked.  Exactly three days to end of year. This year has been a rather surprising one for me. Well, firstly i've been stuck home for like almost a week ever since i've discharged.  It's like literally a week and a day of not going out at all.  Can you believe it? How suffocated i feel hahaha after like a couple of days. But oh well, this year is different as to the last because i'm currently in e midst of recuperating from my dental ops. it's considered a rather major ops and therefore i have to be home for the first 1-2 weeks to rest. And guess what, made a trip to the dental clinic today with mum and the dentist gave a thumbs up formy recovery progresss! (Y) #cheersadel  Tbh, it felt like hell when the ops ended i thought to myself why do i go through such shit like it really hurts so bad i can't open my mouth to take a sip of water and i feel so tired and restless and i just wanna sleep all day. but my mo...
Hiiii, its been awhile :) Time seem to pass faster without you knowing and we're in the month of October already. Its like close to two months left of my internship? And im so glad we're almost reaching the end of this entire thing. Eight months of working suddenly felt so short yet so long too. Honestly can't exactly remember the feels when i stepped into this organization to work.  Began to get use to working alone without my other fellow interns though i sincerely miss them loads.  Can still rmb clearly their clearance day and how i wished mine were to end at that instant too. But honestly, the thought of starting school is dreading too. Esp when you're a final year student now.  So yeah that feels when you know you're graduating soon. Like in a year's time. And that 'soon' will come sooner before you know it because you're just so busy with today events that somehow, time just slipped by quickly and quietly.  Thats why when people asked...
//BELATED POST// Hello August!  Yeap it's been quite awhile since August started and finally found the time or should I say found the mood to blog. Well it's been a pretty happening month?  So many people birthdays and of course a pretty significant event too.  Firstly, Singapore's birthday.  Yay honestly so thankful that we made it this far. Singapore, you're finally off the to the next 50th milestone in life. Been reflecting a lot about how our country has developed over the years, especially the skyline and me to have the opportunity to work in one of the IR developments - MBS. Never would I have thought of working here ever, but yeah I am now officially a full time employee (sort of) :wink And this year, I finally went to see the preview after like 2 years? Okay that's wasn't considered Long but still hehehe I will love the chance to witness the parade. Thanks to JJ I was able to do so this year. :-) Also, my yearly affair of catching the firework...
Things happen when you least expect it. And well recently been thinking a lot lately, like the things that happened since work began. Honestly, i wouldn't care much to think about it. But maybe its time to sit down and think carefully.  I'm like at this stage of dilemma where i'm unsure how things will unfold themselves or in fact how my life is gonna be. Its like work and life are so complicated at times. Work wise, its been two months plus and i'm getting a hang of it.  Its definitely much better than when i first started because at least i know what to do and stuff, i feel less afraid but still not that confident to run on my own. Sometimes i wonder how the confidence in me disappeared when i needed it the most. And i realised that perhaps i need to start building it back again. To be confident in who you are and what you do is so important that i guess most of us tend to forget it.  I once told my friends about it and i remember one of them sayi...

Live life for the moment because everything else is uncertain

Its been another two months passed since i've last blogged and yeah the feels and time to blog has reduced much ever since i've started the second trimester and my work attachment.  Honestly time flies so quickly that its almost half a year already and in just a few days, it will be June. Wow looking back, pretty much has happened ever since after the social night event. April was more of a chionging assignments and project and of course, mugging for my exams!  This trimester was definitely better with one less module and relaxed timetable?  However, the motivation to study also went down and this could apparently be seen in my results. I expected myself to do worst and yeah my results dipped but it felt weird because i was heaving a sigh of relief when i saw my results. Perhaps because i knew i wouldn't be able to do as well this tri and therefore, i was mentally prepared. Nonetheless, i'm thankful for this trimester and one takeaway for me is that i'm gon...
Exactly two months since my the day i turned 21 and honestly, there's hasn't been much changes that i felt. It still kinda feels like you're twenty just that the number itself seems to carry on a little more weight and meaning to you. I remember saying "21 is the year to be independent and free" and i was always envious of people turning twenty one when i was a kid. Because being 21 meant that i could definitely drive, be capable of taking care of myself, having the freedom to make my own life choices. Its like there's lesser things to account to your parents as you grow older and this is the kind of change i guess everyone experienced. February has been good? But March has been the best thus far. :) Thankful for 2016 too because everyone's twenty first is coming, but that means my pocket is burning a real deep hole too. Sobs. T.T Plus the fact that i've quit USS so that means lesser income. Wow, couldn't imagine the day i decided to turn in my ...

To God be the Glory

Hellloooo finally down to my very first post of a new year. Well January's been an amazing month thus far.  Started the second trimester mid Jan and thankfully, the workload and timetable has been much better. The school pace seems to slow down much more and initially, I couldn't get used to it because I always thought schools gonna be so hectic like the previous trimester. However, God seemed to listen to our prayers and I'm beginning to enjoy school as much as my other peers. ;)  Now Monday blues are getting lesser even though there's still financial analysis class. But I'm starting to get a hang of the mods. Been telling myself to learn as much as I can while I'm still in school because I've kinda realised that now is the time to learn whatever I can and make as many mistakes before I step out to work in the future. Now that it's 2016. It's only a year and three quarter till graduation and honestly, time pass way faster than you can believe it.  S...
