Good week spent :>

Finally sitting down to blog about my life, hehehe oh well just wanna say that it's been a really great week spent. In particular, this week's events had been great and that's why i really want to blogged about it. :)

Firstly, i had JAJ Bonding Chalet from Monday to Wednesday. Yes, it turned out good unexpectedly. Because initially, i dreaded to go as always because it seemed like a 'Bonding Camp' to me when i saw the packing list on Sunday night. Its weird to pack according to a list when you called it a chalet right? Hahaha. So yes, i still packed and yup went for the chalet. Thankfully, it went well and i made many new friends and had lots of fun. :D
It was good that they split us into groups on the first night because it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone to mix around and get to know the people in JAJ even better. Hahahah, i love GROUP 7 in fact. ^^ A really good combination of people inside somehow and the amazing race was gooooood though i was freaking tired after the end of it. ;)
Kinda missed the chalet now when i think back about it, loved the times we head off as a group for supper at the supper club, eating prata and drinking iced tea. Esp the singing of songs otw back to our chalets. Hahahah good times yeah~

On Wednesday, me jiaen ching yi and siwon shared a cab home tgt because we were pretty much dead tired. That day, i met my baby for late lunch at S-11 and unexpectedly, met Celia. :)
Hehehe feels good to see them after a pretty long time. I remembered i ate lots of veggie that day because i kinda suffered from constipation after not eating much veggies during e chalet. Hahahah had a really tough time shittinggg. >> (Consequence of not eating enough veggie) T.T
Yes, and that night i can still remember clearly was a really tiring night because me and him talked out our problems we've been facing recently. It was good to say out my feelings and thoughts because i wanted him to know how i feel. Idk why but i know that as i grow up, i think alot but don't say much. Often, keeping these thoughts and feelings to myself, hoping he'll understand them eventually. But you know, it's best to say it out and share. I know you're supposed to treat your boyfriend as your bestfriend. And i guess you can say i'm trying to do so.  :) Its gonna take time for both of us to truly understand and know one another well enough like a best friend, but i'm gonna perservere on. We're working things out fine and yes, thank God.

Next day, went out with e FADS. :)
Initially the outing was cancelled but thankfully Fafa didn't had extra math classes and we all met.
Wow, honestly it felt so good when the four of us came together. It's been ages since we've gather tgt and that day was truly well-spent. Coming tgt and reminiscing sec school life brought back so much good memories that made me smile. FADS was a name that we created in e library on a fine day, scribbling our initials on a rough paper. Hahahah didn't expect it to be our group name till now. ;D i can still remember how we all came together as one in Sec 1. I liked it how because everyone single one of us is not able to remember every event that happened, but because each of us remembers a bit of every event, it helped fix the puzzle of our sec school life tgt. That day, we slacked at the open area behind KTP Hospital and talked and laughed e whole afternoon. ;)

On Fridayyy, i went back school for BAOC Prep Day 1. To my surprise, we were back in the same room as last year's BAOC Prep- Minotaurs. :)
It feels different yet better sense of belonging as i was doing the preps (Identities). Perhaps t's because i'm already included in the group and went for JAJs dinners and chalets. Compared to being a DPA student helping out, the feeling was different.
Looking forward to BAOC in fact. :>
That day turned out pretty shitty initially because i took a darned long time to get to SSC.
Cursed and swear like insane. Yes, i definitely committed many sins. :/
But it became better after singing for like an hour and a half with my friends. Nothing beats music to lift up your spirits, excluding friends of course. ;D
Had a good time singing tgt though we promised to meet up really soon again.
We made our promise to sing an entire day before the hols end and we shall do so soon, can't wait though teeheeeeee.

Saturday was a pretty good day too because i went out with e usual, actually many would say it's a double date but whatever. :) Went walking around town because i wanted to get my sneakers really badly. Yes, you know sometimes when you have e craving to get something so badly your mind's pretty obsessed with it? Hahaha thats my state of mind for the whole of Sat until i finally got myself a red sneakers from New Look. (Y) #Happygirl95
That day turned out really fine and i was so glad i didn't had any moodswings. heheheh i have to admit i always do in front of my close friends. :P Hopefuly, everyday will be like this, a happy day. :) Though i know its not possible, but worth a try yeah?~

Lastly, today. My grandma's 73th Birthday~! :)
Heheheh had a buffet dinner celebration for her. It was great seeing the Quek family come tgt. The celebration was held at my place and it started off at about 5.30pm. i ate a lot of food in fact heheheh. 7 Course Meal what do you expect! Of course, eat to your fill. Also, i was really glad because it's been so long since i talked to my cousin (Jaslin) because of many things. Thank God for this event to bring all of us tgt and we kinda catched up abit. I believe there's many more opportunities for us to talk and yes, looking forward.

Anyway, i'm gonna turn in really soon?
Tomorrow heading down to sch for prep. :)

Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart

Holy grail, can't believe its been more than a year and here I am...decided that it's finally the night that I will pretty much like to update my blog. Yes what a year it has been, wouldn't have expected that my life will be like this a year back. Despite saying this, me is contented. Sitting right here alone in an A/C room hearing to 2NE1 music after a good bath and dinner, spending some me-time (while e hubby go for an impromtu night to JB with his bros). Heh tgif! Loving such Friday night <3  Been learning to appreciate these rare moments of me-time, to make use of it in a way that will make me feel good after. Recently, I thought to myself that 'hey its time to start brushing up the self-growth part of me as well as feeding my own mind and soul' cuz lately that was the part of me that I felt neglected - I guess I do sometimes pin a lot of expectations on myself when it comes to my growth at my work - what do i learn from it (aka professional growth) that I so...

Courage over fear

What a crazy past three weeks it has been - rollarcoaster of emotions for me and I can't believe I survived it T.T From having my dad admitted to hospital in fear of an injury that was discovered to receiving a job opportunity and having to make a career decision in such a short span of time (while i'm on leave) to taking that brave step to inform my boss and ro on my intent to go for the interview to driving without JJ for the first time(s). A whirlpool of emotions, it feels overwhelming to be honest.  And I guess a lot of the emotions were more on the negative side - feeling fearful, anxious of the unknown, terrified maybe. And on the other hand, sense of relief and happiness when my dad was finally discharged because the doctors deem that it wasn't life-threathening and that he just had to attend further body check ups thereafter to receiving the full support and care from my boss and ro. I literally couldn't control my tears falling the moment my boss shared the pie...

Hello October!

A year and six months since the first CB started and look at where we are right now...still feeling pretty surreal that we're still in the midst of battling this pandemic or per say endemic to be?  I guess many of us wouldn't have imagined us to be battling this Covid-19 till today, and I'm just thankful that my loved ones are all safe and healthy <3  It's def been a difficult year for many (mostly in bad way i will say, minus the good part that we do get a decent amount of time to spend at home with your family as most people do wfh since last Apr 2020). But then again, I guess you can say I miss the liveliness of the neighbourhood, I miss the carefree times when we can indeed hang out as a group without worries (now I don't think I can forsee being maskless anytime soon even in the next year but I only wish for the easing of group gatherings because I sincerely miss family/relatives time and opportunities to hang out with your friends!) Covid-19 made me treasur...
